Trench Wellness can be used as little or as much as you like. You can input as much data as you like and track what is relevant to you and your goals. Below are a few tips to get you up and running in your wellness journey!

Q. How do I log in?

In the top left of the page will be a user log in box with a username and password. When your account is set up you will recieve a username and password to access the site. Your username will be your first.last name.

Q. How do I Input my details??

Once you have logged into the wellness tracker, the first place you should go is View/Edit Details in the left hand navigation Menu. From there you will see grey data boxes, with the first one “Personal Details” being open. As a guide you should input as much data as you can in as many of the data boxes. This will ensure that other functions and calculations will work correctly. Hit the submit button after you have input your stats in each data box. To expand a data box click the “view/edit” button on the top right of the data box.

Q. What if I forget to input my stats??
Dont worry, all the data boxes allow you to back date your stats. Simply click the calendar button on the top right inside the data box, once it has been submitted it will be stored under that date.

Q. How do I view my past history and progress??

Next to the view/edit button on the top right of each data box is a view history link. Clicking this the data box will expand and show you your stats for each day. Alternativly you can get a snapshot by clicking the “view tracker stats” link in the left navigation menu. Then input your date period and you will get your total exercise hours, total calorie consumptions/expenditure.

Q. An invalid argument comes up on my view tracker stats page and is not calculating?

For the tracker stats to work properly you need to input your type of exercise and time on the home page as well as submitting your weight on the home page. This needs to be done for a number of days, in order for the tracker to have data to calculate the relevant fields. You can go back and input your stats for previous days by hitting the calendar button located at the top right inside each data box. Once this has been done then use the calendar icons on the top right of the tracker stats page to show your stats for an allotted time period. 

Q. My Calorie log isnt calculating properly??

This will most likely be because you have forgotten to enter an activity level in the Base Fitness Indicators data box under “view/edit Details” The equation for daily calorie consumption is based on your activity level, gender, age, and weight which is taken from your data inputs in the view edit profile page. Click here to go to your profile page and enter your activity level.          

Q. What should my daily calorie consumption be??

This will vary between people but should be in the range of 1800 – 2500 calories a day. Most of these calories should be found from complex carbohydrates, protein, and a very small portion from fat. As a general rule you should be consuming 1.5 x your body weight in grams of carbohydrates, 0.75 x Body weight in grams of protein, and only half your body weight in grams of fat.
